P A R T I C I P A N T S
The competition is open to all dancers from the age of 7, whether studying at an academy, conservatoire, private school, (semi-)professional school, etc. Exceptions may be granted upon approval by the organisation.
The dance styles (disciplines) included in the competition are Neoclassical, Modern, Contemporary and Jazz.
There is also a category provided for G-Dance, at Adaptive level.
This category includes dance for individuals with intellectual disabilities, physical impairments, psychological vulnerabilities, those who are deaf or hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired, and/or individuals on the autism spectrum. Participants are encouraged to move in their own way, grow, pay attention to performance, and — where possible — perform independently. In group performances, these dancers participate together in one choreographic piece.
